FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Photographs
QUESTION: How do you capture photographs to put on the web?
Answer: I use three techniques. First, I use Microsoft's PhotoDraw and a Canon scanner to scan the photos; these are medium resolution at 72 dpi. Third, I have Wolf Camera develop roles of photographs and store them on diskette (not CD); these are high resolution (600x400 pixels). The photos Wolf stores on CD have a resolution that is higher than I need for the web and require too much storage space.
QUESTION: How can I send you photographs to put on this web site?
Answer: You can send me hard copy photos, and I can scan them. You can also attach soft copy photographs to an e-mail and send them to me. If you send me photos, please be sure they are in JPEG format and scanned at a medium resolution of 72-150 dpi. Do not send me photographs that are larger than 200 Kbytes each.
QUESTION: Is there a limit to the number of photographs you can put on the site.
Answer: There is a 16 MB size limit for the entire web site. There is no limit to the number of photographs you can add. Photographs are the largest items on the site, however.
